This spring has been a whirlwind. First with vaccinations and then finally with new regulations regarding masks. It was bewildering to choose between embracing the new mandate and entering a building with no mask or wearing them out of respect for the workers that still have to wear them. Will you miss yours? I was wondering what to do with mine, but like many, I imagine, I will hold on to them just in case.
It’s been a while since I wrote, but work has been extremely busy and I started to travel for work again. Outside of work, I have been enjoying seeing family and getting out of whenever possible. I love this time of year- the warmer days and cooler evenings, the grass and flowers blossoming. It makes me truly happy!

What do you get most excited about for spring?
Aside from enjoying warmer temperatures, I get excited about spring dresses and and bags.
The first two shown below, have a nice juxtaposition of dressiness thanks to the pearls, but the rattan and straw keeps them summer appropriate.
I had fallen in love with this denim Saint Laurent bag, but the leather and denim top handle flap bag below from J.McLaughlin is a nice option, and it's on sale right now!
Lastly, I like this wicker crossbody and the pink raffia and faux leather shoulder bag would be very cute for summer, lightweight but roomy.
I just received this dress. It's a maxi on me because I'm just barely over 5'3 but it's fine because I was looking for a mxi, and midi dresses often do the trick. Always check the length from should to hem and compare to similar items have or haven't worked for you in the past. I wanted this one, but they were out in my size in petite. I ordered one more midi dress in white, but it hasn't arrived yet. The black dress below is a keeper though, it's not lined but it's 100% cotton which will be nice on humid days. I wanted something very plain that I could change up with different belts.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!
